Why You Should Choose Farm Foodies

Your Child Will Learn the Basics of Cooking

We’ll teach them what to look for whenever they’re searching for fresh ingredients, and we’ll also teach them some of the basic skills they’ll need as their cooking abilities increase. From chopping and smelling freshly cut mint to peeling rhubarb and preparing fresh fruits and veggies, we cover all of the important basics!

Helping your child make healthy eating choices isn’t always easy, but it’s incredibly important. Junk food and processed goods are everywhere, and many children become adults without any idea of how to eat well. When you enroll your child in Farm Foodies, you’re enrolling them in a class that will teach them the importance of eating fresh, organic ingredients!

Cooking Fosters Creativity

Cooking is an art as much as it is a science. At The Art Farm NYC, we want to help your child develop the foundation they need to continue cooking outside of the classroom. They might come up with their own recipes, variations on something they learned in Farm Foodies, or branch out and try something from a cookbook. Eventually, they might be able to write their own original recipe book!

Your Child Can Socialize

While cooking is sometimes a solo activity, we foster a fun and lively group dynamic in each of our classes. Your child will meet other children their age and be guided by our friendly instructors as they create something delicious. Socialization is one of the best things you can do for your child as they develop, and we’ll help you foster the social skills your child needs to succeed later in life!
