The Art Farm NYC Summer Day Camp is a unique experience unlike anything else you will find in New York City. Each and every day, the children will get to interact with our live animals with a hands-on animal science lesson that will engage your child in the care and compassion of all living creatures. Get your city kid involved with nature this summer at The Art Farm!
Our schedules are designed for ages three to 10 and tailored to fit each age group’s needs. All students will get their hands dirty in our patio garden, experience farm-to-table cooking lessons, jam out in our music sessions, express themselves during art, play sports in our state-of-the-art gym facilities, and experience sunshine and water play on our rooftop and on-site playground.
Fun and Engaging Summer Camp in Upper West Side NYC
Every week of camp has a fun and engaging theme that we focus our lessons on. Our campers (4 years and older) will have swimming lessons at the 92nd St. Y. Shuttle buses will be provided to take campers to swim. All campers will also have the opportunity to play at a local playground in Riverside Park.
This Summer, we are thrilled to offer the exciting world of Mad Science to our older campers entering Grades 1-4. The Art Farm will be partnering with Mad Science, the world’s leading provider of FUN SCIENCE for children. Their interactive programs include a blend of education, hands-on experiments, along with entertainment, guaranteeing that children have a great time while they learn. Campers will participate in science themes such as “Crazy Chemworks”, “Phreaky Physics” and more.
- REGISTRATION: All camp registration is on a per-week basis, you can sign up for one week or all eight.
- Register for 6 weeks or longer and receive a 5% discount.
- Register a sibling and receive a 10% discount.
- HOURS: We offer full-day options for campers from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, as well as extended daily hours as long as 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
- LUNCH: Please pack a nut-free lunch, or you can purchase a lunch option through The Art Farm. View our lunch menu online now to see what is available.
- CLASS SIZE: Class sizes are 15-18 children with 3 teachers, 1 lead teacher, and 2 assistant teachers.
- TEACHERS: All lead teachers have extensive elementary or early childhood education experience. All of our assistant teachers are college-educated.
