Daily Routine Safety Protocols 

The health and safety of our campers, staff, and campers’ families, are our number one priority. Please see our COVID -19 Safety Protocols below. All of our policies follow the New York City Department of Health COVID-19.

The Art Farm will stay up to date with all COVID – 19 Protocols and will change any policies if authorized by the State, City, or CDC.

If A Camper Is Showing Symptoms at Camp or Before Camp

If a camper is showing symptoms at camp, he or she will be sent to the camp office and we will be in contact for immediate pickup. If a camper has symptoms before camp, please keep them home and get them tested for COVID-19.

If An Individual Tests Positive for COVID-19

If they have symptoms, they should get tested and stay home. If they test positive, they should stay home for at least 24 hours and cannot return to camp until they have been fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medicine and have no other symptoms. There are no makeups or credits for sick days due to COVID-19.

When a Camper Returns After Testing Positive for COVID-19

He or she will need to wear a mask at camp for 5 days upon their return, maintain social distancing when possible, wash hands, use hand sanitizer and wipe surfaces frequently throughout the day. If symptoms return with a fever and he or she starts to feel sick again, they should stay home and return to camp when they are fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever reducers and symptoms improve.
