Petting Zoo

One of the most unique aspects of our afterschool program is our petting zoo, which features a variety of animals for your child to interact with. Our animal experts will teach your child about proper animal care, and they’ll have a blast playing with our furry (and not-so-furry) friends. From adorable bunnies to turtles and other small, safe-to-handle creatures, our students always look forward to spending time with the animals in our petting zoo. 

Arts & Crafts

We believe that creativity should be nurtured from a young age, which is why we offer arts and crafts time for all of our students. Your child will have the opportunity to explore their creative side and express themselves through a variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and more. Not only is arts and crafts time a blast for the kiddos, but it also helps children develop fine motor skills, learn to follow instructions, and express their creativity. It’s also a great way for them to socialize with other students in our afterschool programs and make new friends! 

Supervised Cooking Fun!

One of the highlights of our afterschool programs is cooking time in our kitchen, where students will learn how to follow recipes, measure ingredients, and cook up some delicious snacks. Our cooking classes are led by experienced instructors who love working with kids, and they always make sure to use kid-friendly recipes that your child will love. Not only will your child have a blast in our kitchen, but they’ll also learn the importance of nutrition and developing a healthy relationship with food while picking up some cooking skills along the way. 

Snacktime

Of course, no afterschool program would be complete without snack time! We offer a variety of healthy and delicious snacks for your child to enjoy, and we always make sure to accommodate any allergies or dietary restrictions. If you’d like to send your child to our afterschool programs with their own snacks to enjoy, we encourage you to do so. Snack time is a great opportunity for students to socialize with their classmates, try new foods, and refuel before diving back into their afternoon activities. 

Outdoor and Indoor Playtime

We know that kids need to burn off some energy after a long day at school, which is why we offer both an outdoor playground and indoor games for our students to enjoy. From running around on the Asphalt Green Playground to playing tag or hide-and-seek indoors, your child will have plenty of opportunities to let loose and have some fun at our afterschool programs. 

Quiet Time & Homework Help

We understand that after a long day of learning, some students just need some quiet time to wind down and relax. That’s why set aside a little time each day for quiet time. Our goal is to make sure your child feels comfortable and relaxed while they’re at our program, and our experienced staff is always available to help with homework or answer any questions your child may have. During quiet time, students can also enjoy storytime or read books on their own if they prefer.
