Farm Friends is a nurturing 90-minute preschool prep class which offers a gentle introduction to preschool. The class was  designed to ease young children into school routines through engaging and fun activities all with support of our teacher leading the class and the child’s adult to help them feel comfortable. 

Exploration and Discovery: Our program begins in the large blue room, where children can freely explore hands-on activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and independent play. Options include play dough, puzzles, trains, sensory stations, and more.

Circle Time and Animal Encounters: Next, we gather for a cozy circle time at our indoor petting zoo (the farm!) to sing songs and meet our special animal of the week. We can’t leave our farm until we get a chance to mingle and meet all of the animals. 

Snack, Story, and Art: After learning about the animals we wash our hands and we head to the kitchen for snack and story time. Following this, children will engage in an age-appropriate art project, allowing them to express their creativity based on a seasonal curriculum.

Joyful Conclusion: We end our time together with a happy sing-a-long in our main space.

Farm Friends fosters confidence, friendships, and a love of learning while promoting and reinforcing social and language skills. It's the perfect warm and welcoming introduction to classroom life for young learners.
