President’s day is just around the corner, which means that school’s out, and The Art Farm NYC is in session!
We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate the day off with you, and we wanted to take this opportunity to tell you more about our Presidents’ Day workshops that are happening not just on Monday, but throughout the entire week! Read on to learn more, and visit our Registration page if you’re ready to sign your child up for a session.
Presidents’ Week Workshops
Starting Monday, February 15, The Art Farm NYC will be offering a fun-filled, three-hour workshop featuring music, games, playtime, and of course, time with our animals! Children will express their creativity through art as they create their own masterpieces, sing songs with our teachers, and learn more about the animals in our indoor petting zoo. We hope that you’ll be able to make it to the first session, but the workshop will continue through Friday, February 19.
All of our Presidents’ Week Workshops are filling up quickly — we recommend making a reservation soon!
Can’t make it to one of the Presidents’ Week Workshops? No problem!
We host a number of art classes for kids, petting zoo hours, and other opportunities for your child to get a break from city life. Rocks, Smocks, and Animals, for instance, provides your child with the opportunity to let their creativity run wild as we learn about a new animal each week. If your child really loves exploring their artistic side but hasn’t had time while learning remotely, consider signing up for Art for Busy Kids! This is easily one of the most unique art classes for kids in NYC, and it provides your child with exposure to several different mediums techniques, and time at our indoor petting zoo.
Our full list of classes can be found on the Registration page.
At The Art Farm NYC, we couldn’t be more excited to facilitate in-person classes again, and we’re doing everything we can to keep our guests and staff safe so that we can keep it that way. We’re closely following the guidelines set by the local and federal government and have implemented diligent cleaning and sanitizing procedures between visits. Please expect the following when signing your child up for our Presidents’ Week Workshops:
- Classes are limited to eight children and two adults.
- Temperature checks are performed at the door.
- All children and adults must wear masks for the duration of their visit; masks are strongly encouraged for children age 2 and older.
- All guests must sign a COVID-19 waiver before participating.
- Art stations and supplies are disinfected throughout the day and between uses.
